Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 October 2026This policy explains how Callyo ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit callyo.cc, request a demo call, or when our AI phone agents talk to people on behalf of our customers.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone number, company and notes you submit through our forms.
- Call data: when a Callyo agent calls or answers you, we process the audio, a transcript, call metadata (time, duration, number) and the outcome of the call.
- Basic usage data: standard server logs such as IP address and browser type.
How we use it
- To place the demo call you requested and to follow up about your inquiry.
- To run AI phone agents for our customers, including booking appointments and sending confirmations.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve quality.
Calls and consent
We place outbound calls only to people who have asked to be contacted, for example by submitting a form, and we honor opt-out and Do-Not-Call requests promptly. Calls may be recorded; callers are informed where required. Our agents identify as AI assistants when asked.
Callyo app and dashboard
To sign in to the Callyo app or dashboard (app.callyo.cc) you accept our Terms and Conditions and this policy. When you use the app we collect:
- Account and security: your sign-in email and name, sign-in times, IP address and browser or device type.
- App usage: the screens you open, the buttons you tap, time spent in the app, screen size, language and time zone.
- Location: your precise location (GPS), only if you allow it when your phone or browser asks. It is read only while the app is open and in use, at most every 15 minutes. We never collect location in the background, and you can turn it off at any time in your phone's settings.
- Why: to understand how the app is used and to improve it. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
- How long: usage and location records are deleted after 180 days.
- Your choice: you can turn location off any time in your phone's settings, and you can ask us to stop collecting or delete your data by emailing hello@callyo.cc.
Who processes it
We use these service providers to run Callyo. Each receives only what it needs for its part:
- Twilio (US/Canada telephony): call routing and call audio.
- Plivo (India and backup telephony): call routing and call audio.
- Google (Gemini AI models, which generate the agent's replies; Google Sign-In for the client dashboard).
- Sarvam (speech recognition and voices for Hindi and Hinglish calls).
- Amazon Web Services (hosting and email delivery through Amazon SES).
- ntfy (internal alerts to our team: a request ID, use case and masked phone number only).
We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Lead, call and booking records are kept for 90 days and then deleted. Our do-not-call list is kept so that we can keep honoring opt-outs.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing hello@callyo.cc. To stop calls, say "no more calls" on a call, or email hello@callyo.cc with "no more calls". We add the number to our do-not-call list promptly.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and access is limited to people and systems that need it.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
